3 Tbs minced onion
3 Tbs garlic flakes
3 Tbs poppy seeds
3 Tbs sesame seeds
2 Tbs black pepper
2 Tbs coarse sea salt
1.5 lbs chicken tenders
some EVOO for drizzling
Preheat oven to 375.
Place the minced onion, garlic flakes, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, pepper
and coarse salt on a plate and mix it all together. Drizzle the chicken tenders
with some EVOO, giving them a toss to make sure they are fully coated. Dip each piece of
chicken into the seed mixture and turn to coat. Repeat until all the chicken has
been coated. Then transfer skewers to a nonstick baking sheet. Cook in the oven
for 20-25 minutes.
- serve with sour cream or whipped cream cheese with chives. There was a dip supposed to go with this, but I forgot to make it and I ended up liking it with just sour cream the best.
- don't over cook. It dries them out. Also... use the chicken tenders. I tried to save some cash and went with the like, chicken slices and chopped them up. I think there was too much seasoning and not enough chicken.
